Randomized Clinical Trial Effect of Sesame and Training on Heat Shock Protein 70 Gene Expression and Light Chain 3-I Proteins of Inactive Middle-Aged Men

Background: Clinical studies have indicated that exercise activity and supplementation may different effects on the immune system health. The present study aimed to determine effect of sesame interval training heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) gene expression light chain 3-I (LC3-I) proteins among inactive, middle-aged men. Methods: In this randomized clinical trial quasi-experimental which was conducted in fall, 2019, 60 inactive men who had habit going parks Karaj, Iran were selected as study’s statistical subject and, then, randomly divided into four groups (i.e., supplement, training, supplement+interval control). Sesame, received sesame. protocol lasted for 12 weeks. HSP70 LC3-I measured before after using enzymatic method. As homogeneity variances, Levene’s test Shapiro–Wilk used investigate natural distribution. Analysis variance differences groups. Results: Significant found regarding (P<0.001) (P<0.001). According results Tukey post hoc test, there a significant difference between training+sesame group controls (P≤0.05). Conclusion: It concluded high intensity with reduced LC3-I. novelty lay fact it consuming capable synergistically reducing chaperone autophagy indicator.
